Booking context
Add-on and standalone scopes are different transactions.
The camera work may be similar, but a dedicated trip usually costs more than adding the service to an existing home inspection.
Why the add-on is often cheaper
During a full home inspection, the inspector is already scheduled, traveling to the property, and preparing a report. A sewer scope can be added to that visit without a second mobilization. A standalone appointment carries the full scheduling and travel cost.
Choose add-on when
- You are already booking a full home inspection.
- The same inspector or company will perform the sewer scope.
- The published price explicitly labels the service as an add-on.
Choose standalone when
- The home inspection is already complete.
- You want an independent sewer specialist.
- You need a repeat scope, locate, or second opinion.
